Old and new name: Kalkhoff is one of the leading manufacturers of electric bicycles in Germany. The name "Derby Cycle", which the company had used from 1988 onwards, is replaced by "Kalkhoff". The return to the name of the company's founder Heinrich Kalkhoff revives tradition. The company has been producing high-quality Kalkhoff and FOCUS bicycles in the Cloppenburg region for over 100 years. 

Derby Cycle Werke GmbH is renamed Kalkhoff Werke GmbH. Furthermore, Derby Cycle Holding GmbH is renamed FOCUS & Kalkhoff Holding GmbH.

The new delivery and correspondence address of both companies from the 1st of July 2022 will be:

Europa-Allee 26, 49685 Emstek, Germany.

With the dissolution of the Derby Cycle companies, we are placing our two strong brands in the foreground: 
Our performance brand FOCUS and our comfort e-bike brand Kalkhoff.
